Hello! I'm Michael O. and thanks for stopping by my portfolio, Mic On Digital. 

Ever since I was little, I was always drawn to words and language. Fast forward to now, and as a copywriter/content creator, I consider myself lucky because I get to spend the majority of my time either reading or writing, and I love it.

Out of all the business areas, I got into marketing because I feel it offered the greatest opportunity to do something creative since a lot of it is about standing out (“differentiating”, in marketing-speak) from the competition.

So, copywriting combined my love of language with my interest in marketing and desire to create, and it just made sense to me from the moment I learned copywriting was a thing.

One of the most important things I’ve found about copywriting is that- whether the words are spoken, read, or heard--above all, your words must make people feel.

While writing can be a rather solitary gig, I work well with others because I strive to be egoless and open-minded in all aspects of my life. If you asked my friends to describe me, they’d probably say I was “chill”. I guess what I’m trying to say here is that I’m experienced at working independently, but I also love being surrounded by talented and creative people to brainstorm with and run ideas by.
